Smoking
is one of the easiest and most difficult habits to terminate. Easy
because the majority of smokers sleep 8 hours every night without
waking and craving tobacco, easy because many smokers stop smoking
completely when they are ill, have a cold, flue, chest infection
etc. Easy because a lot of smokers choose their time of day to have
their first cigarette, it maybe first thing in the morning, it may
be after breakfast, after lunch or when they go out in the evening.
These are not the habits associated with addiction.
And
difficult because you can stop smoking for a week, a month, a year,
5 years, 10 years and if for any reason, for any reason you
try just one cigarette, you are as hooked again as if you had never
stopped.
The
reason behind this lies in addiction, not the nicotine addiction
that everyone talks about but the psychological addiction that
stores the smoking habit deep in your subconscious mind as a 'Learnt
Behaviour' making smoking tobacco as natural to you as breathing.
Hypnotherapy has the highest success rate of any ‘stop smoking
remedies’ because in addition to helping you overcome any physical
cravings you may experience when quitting tobacco, it reprograms
the subconscious mind to regard smoking not as a natural thing to
do, but as a harmful and unnatural habit that was never a normal or
necessary part of your life.
The
Hypnostyx ‘Stop Smoking’ programme consists of two sessions.
The
first is designed to help you understand why smokers really smoke
and what keeps you smoking when all the evidence proves that smoking
is extremely harmful and you want to stop anyway!
Accompanying the first session are 9 numbered information cards to
be used when indicated during this session.
The
first session is intended for the conscious mind and does not
include hypnosis or hypnotherapy.
We would
then advise an interval on at least one week. During this time you
will be asked to repeat a phrase daily to prepare your subconscious
mind to the fact that you will be a NON SMOKER.
The
second hypnotherapy session should be listened to after 7 days and
is designed to talk directly to your subconscious mind.
At the end of this session
you will be a 'NATURAL NON SMOKER' permanently
